My experience of Lake St Clair in winter was permeated by water. When I visited the area I walked up tracks, which had become creek beds and the mountain climate soaked into my coat and dripped off my hat. As I climbed up to shadow Lake I observed the way the land formations had been created by glacial movement and took photos of the tannin coloured water running over rocks. This work transcribes these impressions of rock and water, rendering the watercourses I encountered.
